Mr. Weigel has over 30 years of banking experience. Prior to the founding of NorthStar Banking Corp, he formed a Florida based bank holding company, acquired a National Bank and subsequently sold control of it.
Prior to this, Mr. Weigel was President of SunTrust Bank, Northwest Florida from August 1997 until January 2002, and Senior Vice President, SunTrust Bank, Miami from May, 1982 until August 1997.
Mr. Weigel has a Bachelors degree in Finance from University of South Florida.

Mr. Davidson joins NorthStar Bank after a 17 year career with SunTrust Bank. He has more than 22 years of commercial banking experience, including senior credit officer and regional line of business manager for both the Commercial and Business Banking Lines of Business.
Mr. Davidson holds a BA degree from Stetson University and is a graduate of the National Commercial Lending School.
Mr. Davidson’s community involvements include division campaign leader for United Way of the Big Bend, the Florida Baptist Home for Children in Jacksonville and the finance committee of the Beaver Street Enterprise Center.

A native of the Tampa Bay Area, Mr. Fleming joined NorthStar Bank with 16 years of banking experience, beginning with The Bank of Tampa in 1992 as Auditor/Compliance Officer. In 1995, after the near-sale of the Bank, he began a 10-year consulting career with Stogniew & Associates, performing internal audits, loan reviews, and other engagements for community banks in Florida, California and New York. Prior to joining NorthStar, Mr. Fleming was Chief Financial Officer at First Commercial Bank of Tampa Bay.
Mr. Fleming graduated in 1985 from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Accounting and worked in public accounting at Dwight Darby & Company, CPAs in Tampa prior to focusing his career on banking. Mr. Fleming is a Certified Public Accountant (1988) and Certified Internal Auditor (1994) and is a member of the Florida and American Institutes of CPAs. His community involvement largely revolves around his children's schools (Roosevelt Dad's Club, Great American Teach-in, etc.).

With more than 20 years of banking expertise, Mr. Briggs brings to NorthStar a diverse background in banking services. He began his banking career at AmSouth, where he served as Commercial Loan Officer, Branch Manager and Vice President. His experience includes Huntington National Bank as Commercial Banking Officer and Vice President, Tampa’s South Trust Bank as Senior Vice President and Commercial Division Manager.
Mr. Brigg’s most recent position prior to joining NorthStar was as Executive Vice President and Commercial Banking Manager for Florida Capital Bank in Tampa.
A Business Management graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, Mr. Briggs is also an alumnus of the Florida School of Banking in Gainesville.
He is active in the Tampa community, including serving as a Board Member for Florida Blood Services, Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club, and Leadership Board for the PODS Championship.

Mr. Jacobsen joins NorthStar Bank from Merrill Lynch where he served as commercial banking specialist providing clients with commercial and investment banking products and services. He has more than 22 years of commercial banking experience in Tampa, including business banking sales manager for Barnett Bank, office executive for The Bank of Tampa, and city president for AmSouth Bank.
Mr. Jacobsen holds a BA degree from Dickinson College and is a graduate of the Stonier ABA Graduate School of Banking. He is also a Certified Financial Planner.
Active in the local community, he is the immediate past chairman of the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay and serves on the Board of Directors for the Outback Bowl. Mr. Jacobsen is also an alumnus of the Tampa Connection and Leadership Tampa.

Mr. Mason has more than 18 years of Retail Banking experience starting with Bank of America's Management Associate Program in September 1989. His banking career continued to progress with SouthTrust Bank and FNB of Pasco most recently as Retail Banking Director.
Mr. Mason received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bethune-Cookman University and his Master's degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He is pro-active in the community and has served on several boards, committees, and foundations.
